Hair We Are

We had to wait until we got back from Michigan so that everyone there could see his curly hair, but then the day came that it need to be extricated. Grandma said to just trim the top, grandpa said to shave him bald; however I did not want a child w/ a curly mullet, nor a skin head. So the clothes were stripped and daddy started to do the cutting. A little here a little there.

But Gabriel was not having it; just a wiggling as much and probably more than a wiggler ever wiggled. Mommy said "Let me see the scissors for a minute and before we knew it we had a concentration camp baby. So gone were the curls and free was this baby to go and do anything w/ out that stinky ol' hair holdin' him back.

Crazymas 2008

We celebrated Christmas this year on Christmas Eve at grandma and grandpa Ellis' (Reed and Laura) house and Gabey got lots of presents and then we celebrated again on Christmas day there after we had our own Christmas w/ stockings and everything.

Then on the 26th we drove down to Utah, saw great grandpa Ellis (Don) and stayed at Spencer's aunt Georgette's house so we could drive to the airport at 4:30 in the morning on the 27th to fly to Michigan. We were in Michigan seeing Grandma and Grandpa DePew (Mike and Sheri) for 10 days. We had Christmas there as soon as we walked in the door. They enjoyed having the baby babes around. We played wii a lot and went to see grandma and grandpa Johncock and aunt Lynell and had another Christmas w/ them. By this time though Gabe was a pro at opening the presents. We cam back on the 6th and missed our flight in Cincinatti so we had to stay in a hotel overnight and fly out the next morning. So we missed our first day of classes, but it was alright. We had 6 Christmas this year.

Gabey Baby's Big Day

Gabe had quite the birthday w/ a log cabin cake and numberless presents. He of course was more interested in the boxes for a while than he was the presents and got upset when we would take them away and give him another present to open. He got books, and toys, and got to see his cousin Eva. Mommy even made him his very own pancakes for breakfast. What a day!
