Christmas was stressful, but we were all happy we were together. Spencer went to Michigan and was supposed to be home by Christmas, but things kept coming up and he wasn't going to drive a safe vehicle across the country so the tuesday before Christams Spencer called me in the morning and asked if I would fly out to Michigan with Phoebe for Christmas since he already had Gabe with him. So I hurried and packed and we flew out of Idaho falls that afternoon at 3. It was pretty crazy, but at least we were together for Christmas. The drive home ended up taking about 33 hours with bathroom breaks and gass and eating and everything, but we made it home. We were a few days late for class, but we're all caught up. Spence and I both have full schedules. We are taking a Book of Mormon II class together early mornings on mondays and wednesdays. Spence is also taking alternate fuels, material science, statics, and human resource management. I am taking art history I, beginning french I, theatrical costume design, clogging and art seminar.

Spencer's brother, Stephen, has also come out to live with us for a while to help spence with his work and spend some time with us. He's been a great help watching the kids when Spence and my classes overlap and for dates.

Gabriel is as crazy as ever and Phoebe is talking so much. She mostly just screeches when she wants stuff, but if she is in a different room and she doesn't know that you are listening she says all sorts of words you didn't even know she knew. She likes to take stuff that is Gabe's even if she doesn't really want to play with it just to bug her brother and she laughs as she's running away from him. The like to yell down our laundry shoot (don't wory its only a couple feet long) to people who are int he laundry room or the kitchen and Gabe likes to have his mommy at the top and his daddy in the laundry room and slide through the shoot to his daddy below.

Summer 2010

This summer after school got out in July we celebrated Phoebe's 1st birthday...

Then we went to Michigan to visit Spencer's family. Gabriel found a lot of tree frogs and huge toads while we were there and he loved to carry them around all day.

We drove down to Atlanta for a week after Spencer's grandpa G.B. had a knee replacement. We spent a lot of time with the family.

One day we toured the Savannah College of Art and Design where I want to go to school and it was amazing. This is just a couple of the classrooms in the fashion design department.

While we were in Atlanta we went to the Georgia Aquarium which is the biggest aquarium in the world and the kids loved it.

This is a albino aligator. Yuck it gives you the creeps huh?

Then we went back to Michigan and visited Grandpa Ellis and Grandpa and Grandma Johncock. Jessie and her kids were there and we had dinner and played in the hose.

When we got back to Idaho in September I gave Gabe a hair cut.

Before: He looks kinda like the mom on That 70's Show with his hair brushed this way.

After: We had an accident, so it ended up needing to be shorter than I originally planned.

Phoebe and Gabe were playing on the cooler and I thought these pictures were hilariuos. You can just see the conversation: "Phoebe I love you, but...

if you ever touch any of my toys, I swear to you, it will be the last thing you do!"

This is my first purse that I made the pattern for and finished. This one is $85.

These are our pumpkins. We got them at alberstons for $5.99 and the smaller ones for $3.99 which was pretty awesome because I could barely lift the big ones so I thought that was a pretty good deal.
Gabe and I carved the pumpkins together while Spence and Phoebe were in Michigan. One was like a wood grain design that took forever and one was a witches shack, one was like bricks and the other was just a pumpkin throwing up chunks, but Gabey said it was him when we were carving it.

We had a Halloween party and I made a lot of food and treats and we had lots of decorations.

I added a lot more jars than there are here. There was also some potions bottles and light bulb jars that had all sorts of things in them.

I colored my hair while Spence was in Michigan. It was just for fun during my off track.

Hair We Are

We had to wait until we got back from Michigan so that everyone there could see his curly hair, but then the day came that it need to be extricated. Grandma said to just trim the top, grandpa said to shave him bald; however I did not want a child w/ a curly mullet, nor a skin head. So the clothes were stripped and daddy started to do the cutting. A little here a little there.

But Gabriel was not having it; just a wiggling as much and probably more than a wiggler ever wiggled. Mommy said "Let me see the scissors for a minute and before we knew it we had a concentration camp baby. So gone were the curls and free was this baby to go and do anything w/ out that stinky ol' hair holdin' him back.

Crazymas 2008

We celebrated Christmas this year on Christmas Eve at grandma and grandpa Ellis' (Reed and Laura) house and Gabey got lots of presents and then we celebrated again on Christmas day there after we had our own Christmas w/ stockings and everything.

Then on the 26th we drove down to Utah, saw great grandpa Ellis (Don) and stayed at Spencer's aunt Georgette's house so we could drive to the airport at 4:30 in the morning on the 27th to fly to Michigan. We were in Michigan seeing Grandma and Grandpa DePew (Mike and Sheri) for 10 days. We had Christmas there as soon as we walked in the door. They enjoyed having the baby babes around. We played wii a lot and went to see grandma and grandpa Johncock and aunt Lynell and had another Christmas w/ them. By this time though Gabe was a pro at opening the presents. We cam back on the 6th and missed our flight in Cincinatti so we had to stay in a hotel overnight and fly out the next morning. So we missed our first day of classes, but it was alright. We had 6 Christmas this year.

Gabey Baby's Big Day

Gabe had quite the birthday w/ a log cabin cake and numberless presents. He of course was more interested in the boxes for a while than he was the presents and got upset when we would take them away and give him another present to open. He got books, and toys, and got to see his cousin Eva. Mommy even made him his very own pancakes for breakfast. What a day!

snow

It has snowed everyday for the last 5 days and it's getting very old. We had to go out and get Gabe snow pants, boots, a coat, and gloves. He hates them and won't sit still to put them on, but he looks like a cutie. Spencer's been doing school and work. I made chocolate chip cookies last night, did some holiday decorating and cleaned my little heart out.
